On the evening of Monday last, a Dutch vessel bound for Maryport, called the Aurora, from Rotterdam, laden with flax for Mr. HARRIS, of Cockermouth, and also cheese, apples, &c., came on shore at Seaton point, near Workington, at low water.
Most part of the cargo has been got out, but a third part of the flax is so much damaged by the sea washing over that it is not fit for use. The vessel and cargo is insured and it is supposed she will become a total wreck, as the captain was obliged to cut the masts away before she righted after taking the ground.
