ACCIDENT AT THE DOCK ________________________ Yesterday, JOHN KIRKBRIDE, of Dearham, a goods guard on the Maryport and Carlisle Railway, met with an accident while assisting to make up a train at the dock. By some means or other, it seems the man was caught between the buffers of two wagons, and his leg and thigh were severely crushed. He was afterwards removed home in a cab. |
