LETTER TO THE EDITOR.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TO THE EDITOR OF THE ADVERTISER.
SIR, - It is not my intention to criticise the lecture of DR. AVELING on "CHARLES DARWIN AND HIS WORK". My object in writing is to give a little advice to the Agnostics of Maryport, and that is, that the next time they wish to advertise the lecture of DR. AVELING, or that of any gentleman of a similar stamp, they will do so in a legitimate way, and not try to get an announcement of the lecture published "free gratis for nothing" by a side wind.
Yours truly,
July 20th FAIR PLAY.
