A lad named GRACIE was charged with stealing some biscuit tins from the shop of Mr. C. J. FOX; and Catherine FITZPATRICK was charged with receiving the same. The case was clearly proved; FITZPATRICK, who is known to the police, was sent to gaol for a month with hard labour, and GRACIE was remanded for a week. _____ A charge against Thomas McALLISTER, Labourer, for stealing a shovel, was adjourned for a week. |
