CARLISLE SHOW YARD, 1880. CONTRACT FOR WATER SUPPLY. THE LOCAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE require TENDERS for labour and use and waste of materials for following PIPES, &c., laid complete in the SHOW YARD, viz., about: 1366 lineal yards of Three inch cast Iron Pipes. 1500 lineal yards of Two inch cast Iron Pipes. 933 lineal yards of 1½ inch Wrought Iron Pipes. 180 lineal yards of 1¼ inch Wrought Iron Pipes. 250 lineal yards of 1 inch Wrought Iron Pipes. 990 lineal yards of ¾ inch Wrought Iron Pipes. 4 three inch diameter Stop Cocks. 8 Hydrants. 125 ¾ inch diameter Bib Cocks. 18 one inch diameter Bib Cocks. Plans and Specification can be seen at Mr. H. U. MCKIE'S Office, Town Hall, Carlisle, on and after the 27th inst. The Works to be commenced on the 10th day of May, and completed on or before the last day of June, 1880. Sealed Tenders to be sent to the Mayor of Carlisle, endorsed, "Tender for Water Supply for the Royal Agricultural Show Yard, Carlisle," on or before the 27th February next.
