John, alias “Nip,” WHARTON, labourer, of Penrith, a well known character, was brought up, on remand, charged with having stolen a quantity of copper money from the till of Mrs. SARGINSON, Duke’s Head Inn, Angel Lane. He pleaded guilty and was committed for three months. |
