Lord Ramsay's Surrender

(FROM THE TIMES) ____   The Liverpool Liberals know their own business best and they probably calculate that the Irish vote “thrown solid” as the Americans say, will be practically more valuable to them than any support they may alienate by concessions encouraging an unconstitutional demand.   They will possibly prove to be right so far as the present contest concerned; but far seeing politicians must look forward to the General Election, when pledges like Lord RAMSAY’s will undoubtedly have a powerful effect upon a large body of non-partisan Liberal opinion throughout the country.
