IMPORTANT TO CAPITALISTS, IRON MANUFACTURERS, COAL OWNERS, AND OTHERS. _____ THE HENSHAW AND MELKRIDGE COLLIERIES COMPANY (LIMITED), MELKRIDGE, NEAR HALTWHISTLE. _____ IN LIQUIDATION. FOR IMMEDIATE SALE, all the valuable COLLIERY, situate at MELKRIDGE, near Haltwhistle, in possession of the above named Company, by Lease of Sir EDWARD BLACKETT, Bart., and now working by Adit Level closely adjoining the North Eastern Railway, together with the costly new and powerful Machinery, thereon, viz.: Engines, Pumps, Gearing, Cages, Tubs, Trams, Waggons, Screens, Blacksmith and Joiners' Shops, Tools, Material, &c., &c., comprising every necessary for the extensive and economical working of the Mine. The Lease also confers the preference to work the Flag and Stone Quarries, Fire Clay, and other Minerals within the extensive royalty it includes. The Quarries have been worked for some time, and valuable flag and stones are now laid open. Full information, and every facility for inspection, will be given on application to the undersigned, who will also receive Tenders and treat for the whole or such portion as may be agreed upon, and close when a suitable offer is made.
