Valuable Estate at Headsnook, for sale. To be Sold, by Auction, at the Bush Inn, Carlisle, on Tuesday, the 13th day of February, 1844, at Six o'clock in the Evening (unless disposed of by Private Contract, of which due Notice will be given), ALL that valuable ESTATE, situate at HEADSNOOK, in the Parishes of Hayton, Cumwhitton, and Wetheral, in the County of Cumberland, about Six Miles from Carlisle, and Two from Warwick Bridge, consisting o f a substantial Farm House, Cottage, Barns, Byers, Stables, and all other necessary Out-Buildings, a Summer House, and large and extensive gardens, capable of producing abundance of excellent Fruit; and about 177 Acres of Arable, Meadow, and Wood Land, in a good state of Cultivation, and lying nearly within a Ring Fence, in the occupation of Messrs. ROUTLEDGE, who will show the Premises. The Wood on this Estate is exceedingly valuable, consisting of Oak, Ash, Fir, Beech, &c., of unusually large dimensions, and of upwards of one hundred years growth. The Estate presents a most desirable Investment, and has peculiar claims to attention, from its beauty and pleasant Situation, and extensive Plantations and Gardens, and from immediately adjoining the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway at the lower extremity, and this affording great advantages with respect to the transit of Sock and Produce to the principal Markets of Northumberland and Cumberland. A Compact Freehold Estate , called Ryelands, situate in the Parish of Sebergham; in the County of Cumberland, consisting of a Dwelling House, Farm Buildings, One Hundred and Fifty-two Acres or thereabouts, of Arable, Meadow, and Pasture Land, and about Five Acres of Land Planted with thriving Oak and Larch Wood, of upwards of Thirty years growth. Eight Acres of the Land pay a small yearly composition in lieu of all Tithes, and the remainder of the Estate is tithe-free.
