The championship competition of the Throstle Nest Club  for 1936 - which was not played out last season -  was completed on Tuesday evening, when the finalists were the same as in 1935, and the result the same, a  win by G. RIDDOCK over Jos. HOLLIDAY.

In the semi-final Jos. HOLLIDAY beat A. FELL 21-20,  and G. RIDDOCK beat W. ARMSTRONG 21 - 10.

In the final, at the fifteenth end the score stood 10  - 7 in favour of the
holder, but at the next four ends HOLLIDAY counted five.  Result: - RIDDOCK, 21; HOLLIDAY, 12.

The champion will hold the Harris Cup for the year,  and in view of the
successive win he will receive a special  cup.
