The funeral of Mrs. Hannah BARNES, who died at Main  Street, Dearham on Friday, at the age of 65 years, took place on Monday.

The Rev. M. D. GRIEVE conducted the service in St.  Mungo’s Church. The hymn, ‘Nearer my God to Thee,” was sung at the residence.  The bearers were Messrs. W. PARK, T. McKENZIE, J. KIRKBRIDE, W. ROBINSON, J.  JOHNSTON and W.
KIRKBRIDE. There were many floral tributes.

Mrs. BARNES has resided in the village all her life,  and is mourned by her husband and a grown up family.
