On Tuesday night the Coronation Committee held its final meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. E. GATE. The Committee expressed its thanks to Mr.  A. JOHNSTONE who proved himself to be an energetic honorary  secretary.

The hon. Treasurer, Mr. T. NICHOLSON, presented a balance sheet which was adopted. The small balance is to be handed over to the members of the  local band who provided music for the procession, sports and  dance.

Votes of thanks were accorded Messrs. SHAPRE and G. MARSDEN for the  loan of their fields for sports and a bonfire.

The chairman thanked the members of the committee for their enthusiastic co-operation which helped to make Coronation Day in Bothel a  memorable one.
