Phoenix Fire Office Renewal Receipts for Policies falling due at Michaelmas, are now in the hands of the several Agents of the Company. Insurances of every Description are effected on the most moderate terms. Stock on a farm may be insured in one sum without the average clause, at 2s per cent per annum. Losses by fire occasioned by lightening have always been paid by this office. Persons insuring for Three Hundred Pounds, or upwards, will not be charged for the policy; and all endorsement will be made Gratis. By Order of the Directors, H. A. Mr. BANKS, impressed with a most lively sense of Gratitude and respect to the Ladies and Gentlemen of whitehaven and its Vicinity, for the Liberal Encouragement he has for a number of years experienced, informs his friends, that he intends opening School, at his house in Duke-street, on Monday, the 15th of November, 1813, and proposes taking scholars who have been at the Dancing School, without entrance, and hopes from his unremitting attention to the instruction of his pupils, to merit a continuance of their favours.
