Whereas Sarah BEWLEY, of Nether Row, in the Parish of Caldbeck , in
the County of Cumberland, Widow, hath by Indenture, bearing the date the Eighth Day of September, Instant duly conveyed and assigned all her personal Estate and Effects unto Joseph SCOTT, of Woodhall, and John TODHUNTER of Mossdale, both in the said Parish of Caldbeck, Yeoman, in Trust to be sold and converted to money, for the benefit of such of the creditors of the said Sarah BEWELY as shall execute the said Indenture within three months of the date thereof. Notice is therefore hereby given, That the said Indenture is lodged with the said Joseph SCOTT, of Woodhall, to receive the signatures of such of the creditors of the said Sarah BEWLEY as may incline to come in under the same; and that such of the said creditors as shall not execute the same, within the time above limited, will be excluded all benefits under it. All debts, owing to the said Sarah BEWLEY, are requested forthwith to be paid to the said Trustees or the one of them. - 11 Sept. 1813. ****** BY ORDER OF THE ASSIGNEES OF ISAAC THOMPSON A BANKRUPT To be sold by Public Auction, at the house of Mrs. PEEL, the Golden Lion, in Whitehaven, on Thursday the Thirtieth day of September, 1813, Three Thirty Second Parts, or shares, of the fine newly built Brigatine or Vessel, called the Scipio, of the Port of Whitehaven, Anthony MADDERS, Commander, as she now lies in the Port of Greenock. The Scipio has performed but one voyage, admeasures One Hundred and Eighty Seven Tons, as per Registry Admeasurement, and is in Complete Repair. Further Particulars may be known of Mr. TOBIN, and Mr. HUNT of Liverpool (Assignees of the said Isaac THOMPSON); Mr. WALKER, Solicitor, Whitehaven; or Mr. DAWSON, Liverpool, Solicitor under the Commission. Notice is hereby given, that a Dividend of the Estate and the Effects, of Grace CHAMBERS of Maryport, which were a while ago assigned and conveyed unto Jeremiah BARWISE and John GUY, both of the same place, Gentlemen, for the benefit of her creditors will be made on Monday the 11th Day of October, 1813, - and all those, who have negelected to execute the Assignment, are requested forthwith to execute the same within that time, otherwise they will be debarred any benefit resulting from such estate. Lost, the 19th Day of August, 1813, on the road betwixt Ambleside, Keswick, and Cockermouth, a large Spaniel Dog, marked dark brown, glossy hair, White Breast, a Brown Star on his forehead, and in excellent condition, and answers to the name of Pluto. Whoever has found the said dog, and will send him by the Carrier, and direct him for Mr. William BRAITHWAITE, Watch Maker, High Gate, Kendal, will receive a handsome reward. |
