OBSCENE LANGUAGE.

Alexander HEWITSON and James BEEBY, both of Workington were charged with having used obscene language at Workington Bridge railway station on the 11th inst.

Mr. BURNS, station master, stated that on the 11th inst. the defendants were engaged in a fight which was being carried on at the station, and were using very obscene language.

Defendants were each fined 20s. including costs.
