 MISSION SERVICES AT MARYPORT.
      During the past fortnight mission services have been conducted at Our Lady and St. Patrick's Church, Maryport, by the Revs. Fathers HOPKINS and WATERTON, and have been largely attended. On Sunday evening last the inauguration of the "Children of Mary" took place. The candidates wearing white veils, occupied seats in the lady chapel. The Rev. Father HOPKINS preached an appropriate and eloquent sermon. The choir having been strengthened by some professional singers, the Benediction service was exceedingly well sung, especially the "Tantum Ergo." Upwards of 750 persons were present at the service.
