other, situate in Church Street, in Whitehaven aforesaid, and at present in
the Occupation of Mr. ANTHONY MOORE, Mrs. LAWSON, and Mr. HENRY DIXON.

TO be SOLD, in Public Auction, at the Globe Inn, in Cockermouth, on THURSDAY
the 27th Day of February, Instant, subject to such Conditions as will then
be produced,

The Oak, Ash, Birch, and Alder Wood,

Of from 20 to 25 Years Growth; growing on about Seven Acres of Land; and a
Quantity of the same Kinds of WOOD, of about 25 Years Growth, growing in and
near the Hedges; also several full grown ASH TREES, growing on the Estate at
High House, in Buttermere, now in the Possession of John CLARKE, the
Younger.

Further Particulars may be known, on Application to Messrs. BENSON and
NICHOLSON, Solicitors, in Cockermouth; and the said John CLARKE will shew
the Wood to be sold.

TO be SOLD by Public Auction, at the House of Mrs. Ann NORMAN, Innkeeper,
the Sign of the George and Dragon, in Keswick, in the County of Cumberland,
on FRIDAY the 6th Day of March, 1812,

All that Tithe Free Messuage and Tenement with the Appurtenances, known by
the name of BECKSIDE, in Mungrisdale, in the Parish of Greystock, in the
said County of Cumberland; consisting of a good Dwelling House, lately
erected, with convenient Out-houses, well built and in good Repair; and
about 70 Acres of Arable, Meadow, and Pasture Land, divided into suitable
Inclosures; well fenced and watered; the Property of Mr. JOHN DAWSON, of
Beckside aforesaid.

The above Estate has an unlimited Right on the extensive Common called
Grisdale Common, and the Wastes adjoining, and lies at a convenient Distance
from the Market Towns of Hesket New Market, Penrith, and Keswick.

Conditions will be produced at the Time of Sale; and further Particulars may
be known, by applying to Mr. JOHN DAWSON, the Owner, upon the Premises, or
at the Office of Mr. J. SIM, Solicitor, in Keswick aforesaid.
