WOOD's CREDITORS. THE CREDITORS, who have proved their Debts under a Commission of Bankrupt, awarded and issued forth against HENRY WOOD, of Workington, in the County of Cumberland, Grocer and Tallow Chandler, are desired to meet the Assignees of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects on the 28th Day of February Inst. at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, at the Cupola Hotel, in Whitehaven, in the said County of Cumberland, to assent to, or dissent from, the said Assignees commencing, prosecuting, or defending any Suit or Suits at Law, or in Equity, for Recovery of any Part of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects; or to the compounding, submitting to Arbitration, or otherwise agreeing, any Matter or Thing, relating thereto; and on other special Affairs. - 8 Feb. 1812. ================================== Tyson's Assignment. WHEREAS JOHN TYSON, of Egremont, in the County of Cumberland, Dyer, hath, by Indenture bearing Date the Eleventh Day of February, 1812, assigned and transferred all his Stock in Trade, Book and outstanding Debts, and other his Personal Estate, unto JOHN VICKERS, of Gill Bank in Eshdale [sic], in the said County, Yeoman, and TIMOTHY WILSON, of Hows in Eshdale aforesaid, Yeoman, in Trust for the equal Benefit of the Creditors of the said John TYSON, Notice is hereby Given, That the said Assignment is lodged at the Office of Mr WALKER, Solicitor, New Street, Whitehaven, for the Inspection and Execution of the Creditors of the said John TYSON; and such of them as shall neglect, or refuse, to execute the same, will be excluded from all Benefit arising therefrom. - And all Persons, who stand indebted to the said John TYSON, are requested to pay their respective Debts to the said Mr. WALKER, or they will be proceeded against for Recovery thereof. [7] =================================== HOUSES, SHOPS, &c. in Workington. TO be SOLD, by Private Contract, (by the ASSIGNEES of HENRY WOOD, of Workington, in the County of Cumberland, Grocer and Tallow Chandler, a Bankrupt) All that Freehold Messuage, Tenement, or DWELLING HOUSE, with the Candle House, Stable Yard, and Premises thereto belonging; situate in Curwen Street, in Workington aforesaid; late in the Occupation of the said Henry WOOD; containing Ten Yards and a Half in Front to the said Street, and Thirty Yards backwards; be the same more or less. Also all that other Freehold Messuage, Tenement, or DWELLING HOUSE, Grocer's Shop, WAREHOUSE, and Premises, with the Appurtenances, situate in the Market Place, in Workington aforesaid, fronting the Market Cross, as late in the Possession of the said Henry WOOD and Others. Immediate Possession may be had of the Premises. Any Person, desirous to treat for the same, may apply to Mr. JOHN SPITTALL, or Mr. RICHARD BARKER, the Younger, (both of Whitehaven) Assignees of the said Bankrupt's Estate and Effects; or to Mr. SHERWEN, Solicitor in Whitehaven aforesaid. 2 January, 1812.
