25 April 1863 Inquest at Keswick Print E-mail
An inquest was held at Keswick, before Mr. Wm. Lumb, Esq. Coroner, on
Saturday last, touching the death of James Harker. Deceased was a labourer,
and whilst working at a place called Crosthwaite Cutting, on the lake
railway, a fall of earth occurred which inflicted such injuries upon him
that he died. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
