28 November 1928 Seaton Funeral

Despite bad weather conditions there was a large  congregation, which included many of her companions, at the interment which took  place at the Parish Church, Camerton, on Monday afternoon, of Miss. Margaret Ann  WHITFIELD (18), Jackson Street, Seaton, the victim of the Portinscale road  fatality. The coffin was covered with floral tributes, and was  borne by Messrs. Robt. IRVING, Isaac FISHER, James DIAMOND, and Geo.  JOHNSTON. The Rev. E. C. BENNETT officiated. Messrs. John  SANDELANDS and Son were the undertakers.
