Thomas CARRUTHERS, of Camerton, was fined 12s for being drunk  and disorderly
and 40s for assaulting P. C. WATSON; and W. CARRUTHERS, Jas  BLACK, and F.
WALKER were fined 20s each for rescuing T. CARRUTHERS from the  officer.

A TRAMP IN DIFFICULTY

Thomas ROBSON, a tramp, was found guilty of stealing a pair of boots from  
the shop of John SCURS, on the 17th inst., and was sent to gaol for six weeks with hard labour.
