21 Nov. 1928 Haig Pit Disaster Fund Print E-mail
The sum of £60 11s 5d was recently received by the  Mayor of Whitehaven
(Ald. Miss. HELDER), on behalf of the Haig Pit Disaster  Fund, from the Chief
Constable of Cumberland and Westmorland Constabulary,  representing the
contributions of the Constabulary Athletic Club from their  sports meeting,
held at Workington, on June 23rd.


The sum of £12 5s 8d has also been received from the  Cumberland Football
Association.
