Mrs. G. MESSENGER, Cow Lane, presided at the November  meeting. The delegate
to the county annual meeting, Miss. Grace MOORE gave a detailed report.


Miss. STODDART, Longburgh, gave a practical  demonstration on smocking.


In a competition for home made wine, the winners were:  -


1. Miss. J. BLAIR, Seaville.


2. Mrs. DOCKERAY, Blackdyke.


The hostesses for the evening were Mrs. DOCKERAY,  Misses BLAIR, PAPE, and
DIXON.
