Workington Man's Alleged Arson ~ £500 Damage at Yorkshire Fire

  Alleged to have been caught when running away from the direction of blazing corn stacks near Selby,
Yorkshire, Irving PARKER, a labourer, a native of Workington, was brought before the magistrates
there on Thursday on a charge of arson.
  He denied the offence but was committed for trial at Leeds Assizes.
  It was stated that five hundred pounds worth of damage was done at the fire, which was on the Staynor
Hall Farm estate.
