The widening of the Farnley Tunnel on the Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Carlisle
Railway.

Plans and specifications may be seen at the Railway office, Forth,
Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on and after Saturday the 13th instant, where sealed tenders will
be received until Monday, the 22nd instant, at Twelve o'clock at Noon.

Burgh and Eamont Bridge Turnpike Road.

Notice is hereby given, that the next meeting of the Trustees of the said
Road will be held at the Moot Hall, in Appleby, in the County of Westmorland, on
Saturday the 3rd day of August next, at the hour of eleven in the forenoon,
for the purpose of Auditing the Half Year's Accounts, and for general purposes.
