House and Garden to be Let or Sold. – To be let or sold, by private agreement, and entered to immediately, or at the will of tenant or purchaser, that commodious and well built house, called Woodhouse, situated within one mile of Whitehaven. The house consists of an excellent kitchen, cellar, and coal vaults. – In the kitchen is a perpetual oven, and hot hearth, dresser, &c. – On the first floor are two well finished parlours, and in the two upper stories are four ??? bedrooms. All the rooms are fifteen feet square and behind and adjoining the house is a wash house with two ????. The ground behind, and along the sides of the house is laid out in garden ???, and the front is a grass plot, with a double border and walk between. The whole is planted with berry bushes and shrubs. – The ground measures nearly half an acre, and is surrounded with a good stone wall, planted on the inside with a thriving thorn hedge. The view from this house is beautiful beyond conception. NB.
