At Brinklow Rectory, Warwickshire, on the 14th inst., the wife of the Rev. J. S. HODGSON, of a son.

On the 25th ult., the wfe of Mr. Joseph TURNER, of Horbury, near Wakefield, of her twenty-eighth child! She is in her fifty-second year.

At Abbey, on the 11th inst., by the Rev. J. ALDERSEY, Curate, Mr. William LAW, Seaville, to Miss Martha SCOTT, Cannobie. The Bridegroom is in his 60th year, while the Bride is blooming nineteen. Strange! but true, this young woman has been converted into wife, step-mother, and grandmother, in one day.

In Finkle Street, on the 15th instant, Elizabeth, wife of Mr. John KIRKBRIDE, marble cutter, aged 60 years.

In Botchergate, on Monday last, Mr. Jonathan ROBINSON, aged 64 years—much respected.

In Crosby-Street, on Monday, the 15th instant, John, son of Mr. John INGRAM, shoe-maker, aged three months.

At Denton Hill, since our last, Mrs. Margaret THOMPSON, aged 36 years.

At Appleby, on Wednesday morning last, Mr. William HARDY, late with Mr. SIBSON, draper, of this city, aged 20 years—much and deservedly respected.

At Monk Hill Mill, near this city, since our last, after a long and severe illness, Mrs. SALKELD, wife of Mr. John SALKELD, and niece to the late James RAY, Esq., of Harrington.

At Wigton, on Saturday last, Ann, daughter of Mr. John PAPE.

At Penrith, on the 11th inst., very suddenly, Maria, daughter of Mr. Anthony PRESTON, solictor; same place, and on the same day, at the Union Work-house, Mr. Thomas WATSON, aged 78; same place, Mr. William SOWERBY, of Carleton, aged 33; same place, Mr. John SMITH, stonemason, aged 63; same place, Mr. GARNETT, Stamp Office, aged 68 years.

At Whitehaven, since our last, Mary, wife of Mr. Peter M'GINNES, aged 73 years; at the same place, Mr. John SMITH, aged 34 years; and at the same place, on Wednesday, the 10th instant, Mrs. Ann CASTLEY, widow, in the 65 year of her age.

On board the ship Leon, DIXON, whilst on her passage from Bombay to London, Mr. Robert TRUEMAN, aged 25 years, son of Mrs. Ann TRUEMAN, widow, of Whitehaven.

At Maryport, on Friday, the 5th inst., Mr. James PITCAIRN, aged 77 years.

At Egremont, very suddenly, on Wednesday, the 10th inst., Mr. John MOSSOP, of Hensingham, and formerly of Prior Scale, aged 56 years; at the same place, on Saturday, the 15th instant, after a lingering illness, Henry, son of Mr. Joseph ASHLEY, tailor, aged 27 years.

At Thornbank, in Gosforth, on Sunday, the 14th instant, Mrs. Sarah HARTLEY, wife of Mr. Isaac HARTLEY, yeoman, aged 65 years.

At Brighton, on Sunday, the 7th instant, Miss Harriet BAGSHAW, sister to Captain BAGSHAW, of Keswick, in the 65th year of her age.
