Deaths.

In Botchergate, on Sunday, the 30th ult., Mr. James WARD, aged 25 years.

In Caldewgate, on Monday last, 31st ult., Dorothy, wife of Peter Rome GREGSON, shoemaker, aged 18 years.

In the House of Recovery, on Tuesday last, June 1st, Mr. John GRAHAM, of Belvue, near this city, aged 22 years.

In Willow Holm, at the house of his mother, Joseph ARMSTRONG, cabinet maker, aged 35 years, having returned from London for the benefit of his health, deservedly respected by a numerous acquaintance.

In Spring Garden Lane, on Friday, the 28th ult., after a severe illness of cancer in the tongue, Margaret, wife of Mr. George DALSTON, sincerely and deeply lamented.

At High Crosby, in the parish of Crosby-on-Eden, on Monday, the 17th ult., Mr. William ARMSTRONG, cattle dealer, in his 67th year. He was a man much esteemed for his integrity through life, and his death is much lamented by a numerous circle of friends and acquaintances.

At Greenacres Moor, near Manchester, on the 29th of May, Mary Jane, youngest daughter of Mr. Wm. EMBLETON, late of this city.

At Wigton, on the 19th inst., in the prime of life, Sarah, the daughter of Mr. John WILLIAMSON, grocer. She was universally respected, and her premature death will be long regretted by her afflicted parents. Her candid and affable manner endeared her to all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance.

At the Wigton Union Workhouse, on Tuesday last, Jane ARMSTRONG, in the prime of life.

At Sunderland, on Thursday, the 27th ult., Mrs. Margaret FISHER, of the Society of Friends, widow of Mr. John FISHER, formerly of Isell Hall, aged 73 years, much respected for the kindness of her disposition, which endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

At Cambeck Hill, on Sunday, the 23rd ult., most deeply regretted by his family and friends, Mr. Richard MULCASTER, aged 35 years. He has left a widow and seven children his decease, the youngest not a month old at the time of his death.

At Irthington Mill, on Tuesday, the 1st of June, Mrs. Ann BELL, aged 43 years.

On the 21st ult., at Ashly Grove, near Egremont, where he had gone for the benefit of his health, Mr. Isaac HALES, grocer, of Whitehaven, in the 26th year of his age.

On the 17th April last, at Antigua, Capt. HARPER, of the Derwent of Whitehaven, highly and deservedly esteemed.

On the 26th ult., in George Street, Whitehaven, Mrs. BELL, wife of Mr. John BELL, blacksmith, aged 68 years, much respected.

Lately, at Whitehaven, Mrs. Jane ROSS, widow, aged 70 years; and Mr. John ALLEN, mariner, aged 42 years.

On Sunday week, at Hensingham, Mr. John BELL, late of Birks, near Whitehaven, in the prime of life.

Lately, at Workington, Miss Isabella WEAR, aged 22 years.

At Cockermouth, on Thursday week, Hannah, the wife of Mr. Joseph ARMSTRONG, nailor, aged 25 years.

On Wednesday week, at Egremont, after a short illness, Mary Ann, only daughter of Mr. Henry FISHER, check manufacturer, aged 15 years.

At Glasson, near Maryport, on the 27th ult., Mr. Jonathan ASHLEY, aged 85 years.

On Friday, the 28th ult., at Applethwaite, near Keswick, after a lingering illness, Henry, youngest son of Mr. William EDGAR, aged 17.

At Coalcleugh, in Allendale, on the 29th ult., Mr. George WHITFIELD, aged 85 years.

At Whitlow, near Alston, on the 24th ult., Mrs. Elizabeth KERTON, aged 80 years.

At Kirkby Stephen, on Monday, the 24th ult., Jane, relict of John POWLEY, of the King's Arms Inn, aged 90.

At Hackthorpe, on the 22nd ult., aged 41 years, Rebecca, wife of Mr. John COWAN, of the Lowther Castle Inn.
