FIRE INSURANCES
NOTICE - The usual fifteen days allowed for payment of premiums falling =
due=20
at Michaelmas, will expire on the 14th day of October next.
LIFE INSURANCES
A bonus, equal to two-thirds of the profit on the company's life =
business,=20
since December 1841, will be apportioned, periodically, among the =
policies=20
effected for life, either
- by addition to the sum assured, or in reduction of the premium;
or the value of the bonus may be received in cash.
The following features particularly distinguish the company's present =
system=20
of life insurance, viz.-
The security of a large capital, for which no charge is made;
The exemption of the assured from all liablitiy of partnership:
And the guartantee which the character, success, and long experience of =
the=20
company afford to the policy holders against all the dangers which might =
result from inexperience or improvidence in management.
