At Bridekirk, on Tuesday the 27th inst. [sic], by the Rev. Mr. HARVEY, Joseph BIRDBECK, Esq., of Papcastle, to Miss THORNTHWAITE, of Plumbland. The joyful bridegroom, after a long widowhood of six months, has taken his third wife at the patriarchal age of 85! His spouse is about half his age.

At Plumpton head, on Thursday last, Hannah, only daughter of Mr. T. S. BELL, aged 5 years.
At Penrith, on Tuesday last, Mr. Thos. BELLAS, an inmate of the Workhouse, aged 44; on Thursday last, Mrs. Ann TODD, widow, aged 98.
At Cockermouth, on Friday week, Mary, the wife of Mr. Robert JACKSON, of the Huntsman inn, aged 45; very much respected.
At Maryport, on the 26th ult., Miss HARRISON, only daughter of the late Joseph HARRISON, Esq., of London, aged 28.
At Torpenhow, on the 24th ult., Mr. W. PEARSON, aged 72.
At Workington, since our last, Mr. Christopher M'DOWALL, aged 86; Mrs Jane HOLLIDAY, widow, aged 85.

At Whitehaven, on Thursday last, Mr. Benn ROBINSON, landlord of the White Bull inn, aged 35; on Friday last, Mr. Daniel MUNRO, formerly carman, aged 73; Mr. Isaac PARKE, aged 65; on Monday week, Patrick, son of Mr. Daniel O'BRIAN, aged 19; Mary, wife of Mr. Anthony TODD, blacksmith, aged 55 years.
At Newcastle, on the 24th ult., in Collingwood Street, Mrs. OVISON, wife of Mr. OVISTON, bookseller and stationer, aged 56.
On the 10th ult., in Leadenhall-street, London, in the 30th year of her age, Betsy, the wife of Capt. John ASHBRIDGE, of Maryport, and eldest daughter of the late R. RICHMOND, Esq., of Crosby. She was a woman whose amiable qualifications and good disposition endeared her to a numerous circle of relations and friends, by whom her loss will be deeply and sincerely regretted. Her remains were interred in the vault of St. Andrew Undershaft, at the corner of St. Mary Axe, Leadenhall-street.
