At Longtown. yesterday week, Mr. William Young TAYLOR, at an advanced age.
At Penrith, on Saturday last, Mrs. Eliz. SHERWOOD, widow, aged 80; on Sunday, Mary, wife of Mr. Thos. NOBLE, butcher, aged 37.
At Alston, on Wednesday last, Alice, relict of Mr. James TEASDALE, aged 58.
At Ravenstonedale, on the 29th ult., Isabella, relict of Mr. John GUY, aged 80.
At Maryport, on Thursday week, awfully sudden, Mr. Wm. LANCASTER, aged 28.
At Workington, since our last, Jane, the wife of Mr. James TURNER, aged 55. This poor woman was found drowned in the Clay-flatt Pond, near Workington, into which she had thrown herself whilst labouring under temporary derangement.
At Harrington, on Monday last, Captain Peter DITCHBURN, aged 58; on Wednesday week, Mrs. Eleanor SIMPSON, relict of the late Mr. John SIMPSON, formerly of Harrington Parks, aged 77.
At the Rope Walk, near Harrington, on Sunday last, Ann, the wife of Mr. John BEEBY, foreman for Messrs. PEILE & Co., aged 59.
At Hollin House, Seathwaite, on Saturday week, Martha, wife of Mr. John TURNER, in the prime of life.
