SUCCESS OF A CUMBERLAND LADY FARMER IN SHROPSHIRE. - At the Worcestershire Shire Horse Show and sale at Droitwich on Friday, Mrs WILLIAMSON, Catsley, formerly of Lane Head, Boltongate, was successful in obtaining highest honours with her filly foal, Lady Catsley, which carried off the first prize in the open filly class of 29 entries, and afterwards the silver challenge bowl, value £22, for the best foal in the yard. This challenge bowl, which has been in competition only three years, is now her sole property, as she has won it two years in succession, and was reserve in 1901. Lady Catley changed hands at the fair figure of 39 guineas, and has gone north.
