HARVEST THANKSGIVINGS.

WESLEYAN CHURCH, WORKINGTON.

The church was chastely decorated on Sunday, the occasion of the harvest festival. There were also abundant gifts of fruit and vegetables, tastefully arranged. The Rev W. W. WALTON occupied the pulpit. On Monday there was the usual public tea, and in the evening the Rev Dinsdale T. YOUNG, of Edinburgh, lectured on " John Wesley, " Mr Jos. EDEN occupying the chair. The congregations were large.
