OULTON.

The harvest thanksgiving service was held in the schoolroom, Oulton, on Sunday evening. The schoolroom had been tastefully decorated. Every available seat was occupied, even the window seats having to be brought into requisition. The Rev J EWBANK, Boltongate, preached an appropriate sermon. The service was fully choral. The collection will go to the fund for purchasing a new harmonium. On Monday a public supper was held, the edibles for which were supplied by members of the church. The proceeds from this sale will also go to the harmonium fund.
