These teams met on the Diamond's ground on the Cloffocks on Saturday, Mr F. J. HAYNES being the referee.----------CARTER, the home custodian was called upon in the first minute-------to save from H. CARSON.-----------Graham got the ball well away, and JAMES practically ran it into the net -----placing the Diamonds ahead in the first 10 mins.--------DENNISON the visiting goal keeper, stopped a shot from ANDERSON, but utterly failed at one----------JAMES and MURPHY, the latter scoring.------GRAHAM was prominent----------- DEMPSTER was safe at the back-----------Robinson managed to get the leather away-------MURPHY added a third to their score------LITTLE followed with another, and right from the restart James put another through, and at half-time Diamonds led by 5 gaols to nil.----------McCANN shot wide.--------------- McCANN scored- Result:-

This re-played tie took place at Grasslot, on Saturday, when the visitors gained a desisive victory by four goals to one.

A great deal of interest was evinced in the football match which took place on Saturday between St Bees Grammer School and a team selected by Mr J. G. SCOULAR, a former scholar, out of Cumberland, Mr J. G. SCOULAR's team proved easy winners.

There was a good gate on Saturday at the Cleator Moor ground. At the outset the Keekle forwards led by Bob ASHTON assumed the aggressive, and "Scotty" CLARK in goal successsfully dealt with some hot shots.-------------(Aston scored)---------It was not long before SAVAGE equalised with a clever shot.----------------Things became lively, however, and at times very rough, and three players were ordered off---KNOX and RICHARDS (Keekle) and PARKER (Cleator Moor).-----Result:-
