The annual services in connection with the London Missionary  Society were
held on Sunday last in the Congregational Church, South William  Street.

 The sermons were preached in the morning by the Rev. J. RENNIE, M.  A.,
pastor, and in the evening by the Rev. W. PICKERSGILL, from  Madagascar.

 On Monday evening the annual meeting was held in the church, Mr. C.  J.
VALENTINE presiding. An interesting address was delivered by Mr. PICKERSGILL,  the
deputatio, who spoke exclusively of the religious work accomplished in  
Madagascar.

 Short speeches were also delivered by the Revs: -

 At the ends of the services collections were taken in aid of the  funds of
the society.
