Workington.
A man named Charles DIAMOND was engaged as one of the wagon tippers. Some
of the wagons laden with earth were proceeding down an incline, when he
attempted to uncouple two of them. While doing so he thoughtlessly placed his foot
upon the rail, the consequence being that he was knocked down and his leg
fearfully bruised.
He was conveyed home in a cart, and his injuries attended to by a medical
man.
