On Sunday morning last, about nine o'clock, the body of Mr. John BELL, farmer, of Baltersdale, was found upon the farm of Mr. ADAMSON , Barnard Castle Moor, the head being in a deplorable state. It appears the deceased had been on a visit the day previous to Mr. DON'T'S of Streatlam, and had left there about five o'clock that night to return home, when it is supposed the horse must have fallen down, its knees being found broke. It appears the deceased was a man of very intemperate habits.— Newcastle Paper.
