RECHABITE GATHERING AT
MARYPORT.

A successful tea and meeting was held under the auspices of the Solway Tent, 1.106 of the I. O. Rechabites, in the Co-operative Hall, Maryport, Friday evening.
The ladies who presided at the tables were:

About 150 partook of tea. Later a meeting was held, when Bro. J. CLARK, P.C.D.R., Whitehaven, presided, and Bro. KIRKWOOD, of Belfast, the High Deputy Ruler of the Order, who is visiting the tents in the Cumberland District, delivered an interesting address. During the evening Bro. T. RUSSELL was presented with a Past Chief Ruler’s emblem, and Bro. FRASER’s band played selections.
