SIDDICK BOWLING CLUB.
There has been concluded on the Siddick Green a most interesting and successful competition for prizes kindly given by the tradesmen of Workington and district. The prizes were both costly and numerous, consequently the games were keenly contested, and everyone did his utmost to capture one of the best prizes. The committee tender their grateful thanks to the following, who have given the following prizes: -

The members of this club brought their season to a close on Saturday afternoon last, , with a double handed sweepstake in which there were 42 entries. Several bowlers from Workington, where the season has finished, were present and took part in the games, and managed to carry away with them some of the spoils. The weather was all that could be desired, and all enjoyed the games to the full.
