The meeting was convened for the purpose of making arrangements connected with the forthcoming season. The balance sheet of last years read by Mr. CRABB, showed a small balance due to the committee, and it is expected that it will be made up as usual.
The committee of management were commended for their economical manner in which they carried out the business of the year. On the motion of Mr. TYNDALL and seconded by Mr. Mungo GLAISTER, it was resolved that the affairs of the hunt be managed by the old committee consisting of Mr. TORDIFF, chairman, Mr. WISHART, secretary and Treasurer, Mr. Thomas HURST, and Mr. D. GLAISTER.
After some discussion as to the election of a suitable place for the kennels, Mr. CRABB moved that the kennels be removed to Steuk Side, on the farm belonging to Mr. HURST, Swinsty. Mr. MESSENGER seconded, but it was ultimately agreed that this matter be left in the hands of the committee, together with the appointment of huntsman, the place and date of the opening hunt, and other arrangements.
