There were 64 double entries, and the entrance fees go to the Infirmary. Mr
Smith, having won twice in succession, carries off both medals - a medal of
the value of £2, and the £5 medal required to be won twice in succession or
three times in all. Other prizes were: -2, 14s; 3, 7s; 4, 7s; 5, 6, 7, and 8, 3s
each.
