GREAT CLIFTON PARISH COUNCIL.
The annual meeting of this Council was held in the Infant School, Great Clifton, on Wednesday evening. There were present:
Mrs. BRIGGS
Messrs. A. COWAN
R. K. IRELAND
R. WILSON
J. COGGINS
Jos. BRIGGS, clerk.
The members present signed the declaration of office, Mrs. BRIGGS was voted to the chair pro term.
Mr. COGGINS proposed and Mr. WILSON seconded, that Mr. KENDALL be re-elected chairman for the next twelve months.
Mr. WILSON said that Mr. KENDALL had during the past year attended practically all the meetings and had done much useful work on the behalf of the parish outside his duties as chairman.
The motion was carried unanimously.
Mr. KENDALL, on taking the chair, thanked all for their cooperation, and said he would endeavour to do his best in the future as he had done in the past.
Mr. R. K. IRELAND was elected vice chairman.
The whole council was appointed to act as Allotments Committee, and also as Footpaths Committee. Further Education Committee:
