Following the usual hour of light music between one and two o'clock this Saturday afternoon in the National programme, the Gershom Parkington Quintet will play from 3-30 to 3-55, when there begins a running commentary on the second half of the Grimsby Town v. Arsenal football match at Hull.
 
The Vaudville programme at 7-35 will include the inimitable comedy of Harry TATE, a selection of Russian folk songs by the Bayan Singers, and a Mabel Constanduros sketch. At 9-50 the B.B.C. Orchestra is giving a selection pf Percy FLETCHER's light music.

On Tuesday, April 14th, a musical comedy programme, conducted by Joseph LEWIS, will be broadcast on the National wavelength. It will include selections from "The Merry Widow" "The Dollar Princess" and "Veronique."

Wagnerites will revel in an all-Wagner concert which is to be relayed on the National wavelength from the Queen's Hall on Wednesday evening, April 15th.
 
Albert COATES, who is never so happy as when giving out big music, will conduct. The soloists will be Helene WILDBRUNN (soprano) and Fritz WOLFF (tenor).

At 8-10 p.m. on Thursday, April 16th three well known artists will broadcast on the National wavelength. There will be songs by Anna TIBELL (soprano); flute solos by Edith PENVILLE, who comes of a family of flutists; and Irene SCHARRER will play two groups of pianoforte solos.
