DEARHAM PRIMITIVE
METHODIST ANNIVERSARY.
 
 
    The Dearham Primitive Methodists held their anniversary on Sunday afternoon and evening. There were large congregations at each service, who thoroughly enjoyed the singing. The children, as usual, took their parts exceedingly well, their efforts including recitations, dialogues, special hymns,  and  anthems. The services on Sunday were conducted by Mr. Thomas HOLLIDAY, Aspatria. The programme was taken part in by:

    On Monday afternoon the children perambulated the village, under the supervision of the Sunday School teachers, hymns being sung at various places. The children were afterwards entertained to tea served by the Mesdames:

    Mrs. PATTINSON brewed the tea. The singing was conducted by Mr. J. W. JOHNSTON, and Miss. D. KIRKBRIDE was organist. A vote of thanks was moved by Mr. R. THOMAS.
