EASTER BRIDES
WEST CUMBERLAND
______
ROWE - SCOTT
A CLEATOR WEDDING.
A pretty wedding took place at St. Leonard's Church, Cleator, on Monday between Mr. Robert ROWE, of Whitehaven, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Samuel ROWE, and Miss. Frances Margaret SCOTT, the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John SCOTT, of Main Street, Cleator.
There was an exceptionally large congregation, and the ceremony was performed by the Vicar, the Rev. R. M. CLARKSON. The bride was given away by her father, whilst her uncle, Mr. Tom LAWSON, of Cleator was the best man. The bridesmaid was Miss. L. KEENAN, of Cockermouth, her cousin.
The bride wore a charming long Delysia silk crepe-de-chene dress with sleeves of silk lace, crinoline hat with silver leaves, and silver shoes. The bridesmaid was attractively attired in blue crepe-de-chene with a hat to tone.
The young couple are well known throughout the district, and have a wide circle of friends.
