COCKERMOUTH IN FORM.
Cockermouth were in form at Laithwaite on Thursday night, beating Whitehaven by sixteen points to thirteen. Whitehaven also gave a fine display. Tries for Cockermouth were obtained by TURNER (2), who also majorised twice, and by ANDERSON and BELL. D. HOLLOWAY and TIMMINS (2), crossed for Whitehaven, TAYLOR improving on two occasions.

ASPATRIA BEAT WORKINGTON
IN "TIMES" CUP COMPETITION.
Aspatria registered a decisive victory over Workington in the semi final of the "West Cumberland Times Cup competition at Aspartia, on Thursday. Their 24 points were scored through tries by TELFORD (2), BELL, WATSON and SKELTON (2) converting.
For Workington, COULTHARD and FLETCHER crossed, INGLIS improving the former's try.
