WHITEHAVEN CONSERVATIVE CLUB

LADIES' NIGHT.
A ladies' night, the first of it's kind to be organised by the Whitehaven Conservative Club, was held in the Masonic Hall, on Friday, when the members and their wives and friends enjoyed a pleasant evening. Twelve tables were occupied at the whist drive, and the winners were:

Mr. J. MOSSOP
Mr. A. V. HALLIWELL was M. C. for the Whist Drive and dance. The Midnight Revellers Band supplied the music for the dance, and Mr. T. McARTHUR, Bransty catered for refreshments.
The secretarial duties were carried out by Mr. CANNELL.
