                   VICE-CHANCELLOR'S COURT, MARCH 15.

                               STEVENSON V. ATKINSON.

Mr. ROTCH moved, upon notice for an injunction, to restrain the defendant from
making use of a certain process in the manufacture of cotton goods, for which he
had obtained a patent, and which he alleged had been infringed by the defendant.
The plaintiff resided at Carlisle, and the affidavits stated, that while in
Manchester he met with some of the goods manufactured by means of his patent
process, which had been made at Carlisle by the defendant, and sent to
Manchester for sale.

No counsel appearing to oppose the motion, his Honour granted the injunction.
