On Monday Sir James GRAHAM called upon the freeholders of Wigton, on Tuesday he
was at Penrith, and on Wednesday at Brampton, whence he set off for Netherby. As
it was market-day at each of these places when Sir James visited them, he had an
opportunity of seeing nearly all the freeholders in the respective
neighbourhoods; and we are happy to add, that his reception was in the highest
degree flattering. - Carlisle Journal.
